About the Role
The main purpose of this role is to undertake Parenting Assessments within Care Proceedings. You will provide comprehensive reports to the court with clear analysis and recommendations. The role requires attending court hearings and giving evidence while being cross examined. This is a fixed term contract for 3 years. The successful candidate will be required to be office based at least 3 days a week.

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Interviews are scheduled to be held during the week commencing 12th October 2026.

Experience
Experience in undertaking Parenting Assessments within Care Proceedings is essential. Ability to provide clear, comprehensive reports and give evidence in court is required.

You will be professional, confident, and able to work under pressure in a legal environment. You must be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. Being office based at least 3 days a week is a requirement.
