About the Role
Join Arcadis' Local Government team as a Senior Project Management Consultant, delivering high-profile projects across London and the South-East. You will lead service delivery on complex housing and regeneration schemes, providing strategic direction and senior leadership for local authority clients from project inception to completion. Your role will involve delivering high-quality, profitable consultancy services on multi-million-pound Local Government projects, developing and managing project plans, risk, change, and programme delivery. You will lead multi-disciplinary consultancy teams, including Arcadis colleagues and external partners, act as Employer’s Agent (JCT) or Project Manager (NEC), administering contracts and safeguarding client interests. Managing stakeholder relationships and negotiations with local authorities and partners, ensuring compliance with public sector procurement processes, and driving innovation in project delivery will be key responsibilities.

Experience
Consultancy background is essential with substantial experience managing Local Government or public sector projects. Proven track record leading housing, regeneration, or mixed-use projects. Strong knowledge of public sector procurement, contract administration, and multi-disciplinary team leadership.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. A digital mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding client outcomes. Strategic thinker with senior leadership capabilities and the ability to manage complex projects and teams effectively.

Qualifications
Relevant professional qualification such as RICS, APM, CIOB, or equivalent is required.
