About the Role
Hyde London City is a luxurious seven-storey, 111-room hotel located at 15 Old Bailey, blending a bohemian-chic aesthetic with a youthful, laidback ambience. We are seeking a Shift Engineer to manage all maintenance issues around the hotel, ensuring our guests remain safe and comfortable. You will be responsible for daily maintenance tasks including plumbing repairs such as unblocking drains and toilets, replacing taps, minor electrical work like changing lamps, fittings, sockets and switches, and performing Health and Safety duties including weekly fire alarm tests, water temperature monitoring, and showerhead descaling. You will also maintain HVAC systems by cleaning and replacing filters and ensure the hotel is kept to the highest maintenance standards. Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and team members following hotel procedures is essential to this role.

Requirements

Experience
Experience in plumbing and HVAC maintenance is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace is required.

Qualifications
