We are seeking four experienced and motivated Specialist Clinical Coders to join our expanding and dynamic Clinical Coding Department. Main Duties of the Job
As a Specialist Clinical Coder, you will: accurately abstract, analyse, and assign complex diagnostic and procedural codes using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications; work closely with clinical teams to validate and enhance the quality of coded data; take the lead on specific specialties and complex coding scenarios; act as a mentor to junior coders and support their development; contribute to clinical engagement, KPI monitoring, audit preparation, and data quality improvement.

Experience
Essential criteria: Substantial Clinical Coding expertise across all specialties and levels of complexity; Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Skills
Essential criteria: Ability to analyse and abstract complex records; Ability to resolve complex coding issues and aptly articulate resolutions to others; Able to identify data quality issues and coding workflow impediments and use sound intuition to resolve.
Qualifications
Essential criteria: Accredited Clinical Coding Qualification (ACC); Desirable criteria: ECDL.
