About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting young minds and making a real difference in the classroom? We’re looking for a dedicated, energetic, and caring Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team!
We currently have 2 positions available:
1 - Maternity Cover on a fixed term contract until January 2027.
1 - Fixed term contract until October 2026.

Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying strategies to help overcome individual pupils’ barriers to learning
- Supporting pupils in line with their Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and contributing to reviewing and updating these
- Using humour and restorative practice to ensure a child-centred approach
- Supporting the transition of new pupils arriving or existing pupils returning to school, putting necessary support in place to overcome barriers to learning
- Providing in-class support as necessary to meet the needs of the school
- Liaising with other staff to monitor pupils’ behaviour and well-being
- Building positive relationships with parents/carers to encourage family involvement in their child’s progress
- Communicating with parents/carers about specific support in place for their child
Arc School Napton, part of Kedleston Group, offers primary provision in a small school setting within the Warwickshire countryside. Pupils are placed in classes based on learning stage rather than age, ensuring effective access to tailored learning. The school specialises in supporting children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including ASC, ADHD, and SEMH.
