The Team Administrator will provide high quality administrative support to the Community Facilities Department. This role involves supporting ongoing and fixed-term projects, ensuring smooth service delivery, and effective internal and external communication. The post holder will work within a busy multi-disciplinary team, handling complex and sensitive issues with minimal supervision.

Main duties include data entry, acting as first point of contact for visitors and queries, processing invoices and purchase orders, handling confidential information, supporting office management and health and safety, ordering office supplies, and maintaining office equipment. The role also involves organising meetings, taking minutes, preparing reports and correspondence, making travel and venue arrangements, and supporting other teams during staff shortages.

Requirements

Experience
Extensive business administration experience demonstrating understanding of key administrative support functions. Experience working in a customer service setting is essential.

About you
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle complex and sensitive issues confidentially and professionally. Proficient in IT systems including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and use initiative when dealing with queries.

Qualifications
Good general education with English and Maths to GCSE standard or equivalent. Evidence of formal further training in short courses and significant experience in healthcare administration is required.
