About the Role
The Procurement Manager will take a proactive role in benefits identification – utilizing business and market knowledge to build a pipeline of procurement activity that delivers commercial and service benefits to operational teams. Acting as a business partner to onsite teams across more than 150 properties within the UK&I portfolio, this role owns and delivers agreed strategic and national sourcing initiatives while providing guidance and support for tactical sourcing and contracting activities undertaken by operational teams. The role supports the effective operation of existing properties and procurement activity for new developments and acquisitions.

Key responsibilities include engaging local stakeholders to demonstrate procurement value, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures, managing supplier engagement, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the local supply chain and market. The role involves end-to-end procurement processes such as sourcing strategy creation, supplier identification, tender documentation, commercial negotiations, and contract lifecycle management via Greystar’s CLM platform, Luminance.

Additional duties include supporting supplier onboarding and due diligence, compiling contract summaries, managing supplier performance and escalation, reporting on spend and vendor performance, maintaining accurate records, supporting procurement policy development, and collaborating with the European procurement team on regional sourcing and supply chain ESG initiatives.
