8.30 am - 3.30 pm, 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 INSET days)

Salary
£35,626 per annum FTE, Scale 6.16 pro rata

About the Role
The Cedars is a school for children with social, emotional and mental health needs, many of whom are also neurodivergent and may have experienced adverse childhood experiences. We cater for children aged 5 to 12 years with 70 primary places and 16 secondary places. Our priority is to create an environment of relationships, emotional safety and consistency, enabling children to feel safe, valued and understood, which supports their engagement with learning.

We are reorganising our Admin team and seek a friendly, efficient and professional School Admin Officer to join our community. The successful candidate will work alongside the School Business Manager and Clerical and Welfare Assistant in a busy office environment, supporting all aspects of school administration with specific responsibility for pupil attendance and family liaison.

Requirements

Experience
Experience working in a busy administrative environment is desirable. Experience with pupil attendance and family liaison is advantageous but not essential as full support will be provided.

You will be friendly, efficient and professional with excellent organisational and communication skills. You should be able to work well as part of a team and demonstrate a commitment to supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs. A strong focus on confidentiality and safeguarding is essential.

Qualifications
Relevant administrative qualifications or experience are preferred but not essential. A willingness to learn and develop within the role is important.
