About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Officer who is confident, capable, and passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care. In this key role, you will lead by example to ensure residents receive care that supports their physical, emotional, and social well-being. You will lead and supervise a team of care staff on shift, administer and manage medications safely, monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, provide compassionate emotional support, maintain accurate care records, and work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals. You will also act as the Duty Officer when required and ensure compliance with safeguarding, policies, and care regulations. Clifton Gardens is a 42-bed residential care home supporting older people, many living with dementia, committed to providing a warm, respectful, and person-centred environment.

Experience
- Proven experience in a senior care role including leading a small team
- Experience leading shifts and supervising staff
- Experience in dementia care
- Strong knowledge of care planning, safeguarding, and compliance

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Health & Social Care
- Confident using digital care systems and IT (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Enhanced DBS clearance
