About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to support the work of the Hounslow Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB). You will coordinate and administer the statutory Safeguarding Adult Review (SAR) process, ensuring complex information is collated from multiple sources, meetings are organised, minutes and actions are accurately recorded, and statutory deadlines are met. You will provide comprehensive administrative and governance support to HSAB, including organising meetings, producing high-quality minutes, maintaining action logs, and supporting thematic safeguarding workstreams and the delivery of the Board's business plan.
The role reports to the Safeguarding Adults Board Service Manager and involves close collaboration with partner agencies across Hounslow. HSAB works to safeguard adults with care and support needs who are experiencing or at risk of abuse or neglect by promoting wellbeing, preventing abuse, and ensuring effective, person-centred safeguarding arrangements. The Board also seeks assurance that partner organisations fulfil their safeguarding responsibilities and work together to improve practice and outcomes.

Experience
- Providing high-quality administrative and business support within a multi-agency or complex organisational environment
- Organising complex meetings, preparing agendas, and producing accurate, professional minutes and action records
- Coordinating multiple workstreams, monitoring actions, and managing competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Working with confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong ICT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and ability to learn new systems quickly
About You
- Knowledge of safeguarding adults legislation, partnership working, or local authority governance arrangements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce professional reports, correspondence, and Board documentation
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently using initiative
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external partners, including senior managers and statutory agencies
- Good understanding of information governance, confidentiality, and data protection requirements
Qualifications
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience in business administration, governance, or public sector administration
- Enhanced DBS check (essential)
