We are seeking an Assistant Director for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities to join our Senior Leadership Team in Adult Social Care.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality, cost-effective services underpinned by continuous improvement driven by qualitative and quantitative data. Reporting to the Director of Adult Social Care Operations, you will lead your service areas and collaborate across the department, directorate, and wider partnerships.
You will be an empowering leader with vision and drive, ensuring integration of adult social care and health services. You will influence your teams and partners to work collaboratively, delivering and advising on strategies for service development and improvement. You will oversee the performance achievements of departmental and customer objectives and develop innovative approaches to service delivery.
As a senior leader, you will contribute proactively to departmental and corporate objectives. You will have oversight of three key areas: Integrated Mental Health Service, Integrated Learning Disabilities Service, and the Out of Hours function. You will provide direct management, supervision, and professional support to staff reporting to you.
Joining a dynamic and enthusiastic leadership team with bold ambition and high aspiration, you will bring significant experience in this field from the public, private, or voluntary sectors. You will be able to work at pace and respond effectively to the pressures of reforms and workforce challenges.

Experience
Significant management experience in mental health and learning disabilities, gained in the public, private, or voluntary sector. Proven ability to lead complex services and deliver continuous improvement under pressure.

Qualifications
Relevant professional qualifications and leadership experience appropriate to senior management in adult social care and health integration.
