About the Role
Are you an experienced Building Fabric Maintenance professional looking for your next challenge? Based in or around South West London, this opportunity with Arcus FM offers you the chance to join a skilled and reliable facilities maintenance team. As a Building Fabric Specialist, you will deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of multi-site clients. This mobile role provides variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to showcase your expertise in a range of building fabric tasks.

You will work across multiple client sites ensuring facilities are safe, fully functional, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include delivering effective repairs and maintenance work to a high standard, responding promptly and professionally to reactive issues, maintaining clear documentation using handheld IT systems, and supporting customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.

Experience
- Time-served, hands-on experience in multiple trades, ideally within a fabric maintenance role
- Experience in retail or multi-site maintenance environments is desirable

About you
- Confident working independently and in customer-facing environments
- Comfortable using handheld IT equipment for work management and documentation
- Solid knowledge of health & safety standards
- Reliable and skilled with a practical approach across a range of building fabric disciplines

Qualifications
- NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications in a relevant trade
- Valid UK driver's licence

Core trade skills include
- Patch plastering and rendering
- Carpentry and joinery
- Floor and wall coverings (tiling, vinyl etc.)
- Basic plumbing
- Changing locks and fittings
- General fabric repairs
