South London, working across various locations including resident homes in Lambeth and Southwark with occasional office attendance at Sidcup.

Hours
Full Time - Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, 40 hours per week. Opportunities to earn additional income through call-out and out-of-hours work.

Salary
£41,200 per annum

About the Role
Join London and Quadrant Housing Trust’s South London in-house maintenance team as an experienced Multi-Trade Carpenter. This permanent role offers the chance to work within a busy, well-established team carrying out a wide range of repairs and maintenance across our housing stock. You will deliver high-quality carpentry and multi-trade repairs, ensuring excellent customer service and safety standards. Key responsibilities include carrying out internal and external door fitting and repairs, splice repairs, locksmith work, bathroom subfloor and bath panel repairs, kitchen repairs and refits, and general maintenance tasks. Where skilled, you may also undertake window repairs including glazing. This role is ideal for a versatile tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and making a positive impact on residents’ homes.

Experience
Strong carpentry trade knowledge with practical experience. Experience working within housing maintenance, building maintenance, or construction environments is preferred.

About you
A proactive and versatile carpenter with a right first-time approach to repairs and maintenance. Able to deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with residents. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements.

Qualifications
NVQ qualification or equivalent trade experience is preferred. A full UK manual driving licence is required.
