About the Role
Join L&Q's Property & Investment Team as an Information Manager and play a key role in delivering the Building Information Management (BIM) strategy. You will implement L&Q's Information Management strategy across Property & Investment, ensuring construction, building, and component information is effectively managed across projects. As the development and remediation programme grows, you will maintain a robust, well-designed Common Data Environment (CDE) and embed strong information management practices.
Reporting to the BIM Manager, you will contribute to the wider BIM programme by deploying and maintaining the CDE across allocated projects, liaising with stakeholders to configure the CDE to meet their needs, and coordinating training for internal and external users. You will act as a data steward for BIM-related information, ensuring quality, consistency, governance, and effective use across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include managing the Information Management workstream on live development and remediation projects, embedding practices compliant with BS ISO19650 and the UK BIM Framework, supporting the establishment and maintenance of a Golden Thread of information, and assisting with regulatory submissions. As L&Q's Subject Matter Expert for the CDE, you will advise on its proper use, support workflow and folder structure changes, and collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to drive adoption and support.
Your work will be vital in embedding a strong Golden Thread of information across projects, supporting regulatory compliance and the overall success of the BIM programme.
Benefits include an excellent pension plan (up to 6% double contribution), 28 days annual leave rising to 31 days with length of service plus bank holidays, Westfield Health Cash Plan, non-contributory life assurance, up to 21 hours volunteering paid days, lifestyle benefits, Employee Assistance Programme, and more.
