Starting from £66,000 per annum (London weighted salary) or £58,000 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience
About the Role
Join L&Q, one of the UK’s largest housing associations, as a Lead Software Engineer (D365) and play a pivotal role in modernising our technology landscape. You will lead the design and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure solutions that support both customers and employees. This role offers the opportunity to define engineering standards, influence platform strategy, and lead the development of secure, scalable, and high-performing business applications.
You will collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions deliver real business value. Your leadership will help establish best practices, develop engineering capability, and significantly impact how colleagues and customers interact with core business systems, driving improved service delivery, efficiency, and customer outcomes.

Experience
- Significant experience delivering and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Pages
- Extensive experience developing plugins, custom workflows, custom APIs and Power Platform solutions
- Strong C# and .NET development experience
- Experience designing and implementing integrations between Dynamics 365, Azure and enterprise applications
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, design patterns and enterprise application development
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and release management practices
- Proven experience leading technical delivery and mentoring engineering teams
- Strong understanding of security, governance and best practice within the Microsoft ecosystem

Qualifications
- Desirable: Experience operating within Agile and DevOps delivery environments
- Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform or Azure
- Degree-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience within housing, property management or highly regulated environments is advantageous
- Experience implementing Power Platform Components Framework (PCF) controls
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem
