About the Role
A Chef de Rang at Mauro Colagreco Restaurants within Raffles London at The OWO is responsible for delivering outstanding guest service from the moment guests arrive until they leave. You will lead a station, manage commis waiters to ensure smooth service, maintain the station and restaurant standards, and act as the communication point between front of house and back of house teams. Supporting hostesses, baristas, and other team members when required, you will also relay guest feedback and requests to management.

Your duties include thorough knowledge of the menu and products, delivering food orders promptly with detailed explanations, assisting with table settings, and ensuring food safety standards are met. You will check in with guests to take additional orders or refill requests, serve food and clear tables, and commit to sustainable practices in waste management and purchasing. Additional responsibilities may include covering for line managers or senior employees and working across different departments or restaurants as needed.

Health and safety are paramount; you will be expected to report and rectify hazards immediately, be familiar with fire, emergency, and bomb procedures, and promote a culture of safety awareness within the department.

Experience
Proven track record of surprising and delighting guests with high levels of service under pressure. Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is desirable.
