About the Role
Join us at Raffles London at The OWO, a landmark Grade II* Edwardian building on Whitehall, where luxury, heritage, and extraordinary experiences come together. As a Chef de Rang within The Drawing Room, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional day-to-day service that reflects the Raffles brand’s commitment to outstanding guest experiences. You will lead a station, manage commis waiters, and ensure smooth service flow while maintaining communication between front of house and back of house teams. Your role includes supporting hostesses, baristas, and other team members, as well as relaying guest feedback to management.

Key responsibilities include expert knowledge of the menu and products, delivering food orders promptly with detailed explanations, assisting with table settings, and ensuring food safety standards are met. You will also be expected to uphold sustainable practices in waste management and purchasing, and to perform additional duties as required, including covering for senior staff or working in other departments.

Health and safety are paramount; you will be responsible for reporting and rectifying hazards, adhering to fire, emergency, and bomb procedures, and promoting a culture of safety awareness throughout the department.

Experience
Proven track record of delivering high levels of service under pressure, ideally within a luxury hotel environment adhering to LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is desirable but not essential.

Enthusiastic and committed to providing exceptional guest experiences in any situation. Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Able to work effectively within a team and flexible to respond to varying work situations. Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Qualifications
