About the Role
Join us in bringing the iconic Raffles experience to London at The Drawing Room, located within the historic and luxurious Raffles London at The OWO on Whitehall. This Grade II* Edwardian building has been transformed into a spectacular venue offering fine dining, lively bars, wellness and beauty therapies, luxurious suites, and versatile event spaces. As a Chef de Rang, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional day-to-day service in The Drawing Room, ensuring every guest receives outstanding hospitality from arrival to departure. You will lead a station, manage commis waiters, maintain the station and restaurant standards, and act as the communication link between front of house and back of house teams. Supporting colleagues such as hostesses and baristas, you will also relay guest feedback and requests to management to continuously enhance the guest experience.

Key responsibilities include expert knowledge of the menu and products, delivering food orders promptly with detailed explanations, assisting with table settings, and ensuring food safety standards are met. You will also be expected to uphold sustainable practices in waste management and purchasing, cover additional duties in the absence of senior staff, and contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety procedures.

Experience
Proven track record of surprising and delighting guests with high levels of service under pressure. Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is desirable.

Enthusiastic and committed to delivering the best service and experiences possible. Detail oriented and able to work effectively within a team. Flexible and able to respond to a range of work situations. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining a professional appearance. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Qualifications
Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in English. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence. Previous luxury service experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
