£13.85 per hour increasing to £14.74 per hour from 1st April
+ £3.00 per hour unsocial premium for hours worked between 22:00-06:00

About the Role
Join M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Fashion, Home & Beauty section, playing a vital customer-facing role in delivering a market-leading customer experience. You will help customers feel their best through personalised 1 to 1 fitting and styling, bra fitting focused on flattering body shapes, or tailor-made beauty routines. Building rapport quickly, listening to customer needs, and confidently recommending products to increase sales both in-store and online are key aspects of this role.
Working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, you will balance speed and accuracy while delivering excellent service. Interest in the product area is important; experience or qualifications are beneficial but not essential as full training and expert product knowledge will be provided.
You will create genuine connections through fitting appointments, style advice, consultations, and tailored recommendations to meet daily sales targets. Digital confidence is essential as you will use tools like the Sparks App and in-store devices to provide a personalised five-star service.
This role involves working late nights; therefore, applicants must be 18 or over to comply with health and safety legislation and ensure colleague safety.
