£13.85 per hour + £3.00 per hour Unsocial Premium (for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00)
About the Role
Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Food section, where you'll champion our high-quality products, great value offers, and deliver excellent customer service. You will be a brand ambassador, ready to recommend our newest Food products and ensure customers feel truly valued every time they shop with us.
At M&S, customers don’t wait. You’ll roll up your sleeves, work hard, and go above and beyond every day. Being digitally confident is essential, as you will use digital tools such as the Sparks App and in-store devices to enhance the customer experience and ensure product availability.
Teamwork is crucial. You will help create an inclusive store environment, supporting and respecting colleagues and the local community. Flexibility is vital, as you will work effectively across various store areas, adapting to the changing demands of retail.
Please note, this role involves late-night working and is only open to applicants aged 18 or over to comply with health and safety legislation and ensure colleague safety.
Experience
Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential. Enthusiasm and a passion for delivering excellent customer service are key.
