About the Role
Join Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM, as a Data Architect within our Data Foundation Pre-Sales team. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, leveraging your expertise in data governance, cataloguing, data quality, and data infrastructure to guide clients through Informatica and MuleSoft solutions. Collaborating closely with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and C-level leaders, you will navigate complex accounts by aligning technical and architectural requirements with business strategy and funding to ensure customers realize the full value of the platform.
You will support enterprise and domain architects in building an Architectural Vision and to-be Architecture for Agentic and Data Transformation, clearly positioning the value of Informatica and MuleSoft. Your role includes persuading senior IT executives such as CTOs and CIOs to adopt this vision to achieve their goals.
As part of a supportive and inclusive pre-sales team, you will work at the forefront of AI and data innovation, helping enterprises solve complex compliance, governance, and architecture challenges. You will also contribute to marketing and evangelism initiatives through blogs, webinars, and industry speaking engagements.
What Your First Year Looks Like
In your first 30–60 days, you will complete onboarding, pair with senior teammates on customer opportunities, and get certified on core Data Foundation products. By day 90, you will lead architectural discussions, deliver tailored presentations, and collaborate on strategic opportunities. Beyond that, you will achieve full certification across product, architecture, and sales messaging while delivering a Self Service asset. You will drive strategic account planning, create evaluation plans, and lead workshops guiding enterprise clients through their architectural journeys.
