About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. The Trust includes five major hospitals: Guy’s, St Thomas’, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, Royal Brompton and Harefield, along with community services in Lambeth and Southwark. We are renowned for clinical excellence, high quality teaching, research, and innovation, and are part of King’s Health Partners, one of England’s eight academic health sciences centres.
The Children’s Surgery, Theatres and Anaesthesia Directorate is recruiting internally for a Deputy General Manager. The successful candidate will lead key service developments including robotic surgery and the integration of Children’s Cancer Services from the Royal Marsden and St Georges Hospital. The role holds day-to-day operational responsibility for the wider functioning of the surgical services and delivery of RTT and surgical KPI recovery.
