The EMEA AWS Global Sales (AGS) Strategy Team shapes the future of cloud computing across EMEA, influencing how thousands of organizations—from innovative startups to Fortune 500 companies—leverage AWS's 200+ services to transform their businesses. This role drives strategic initiatives that define how AWS serves millions of customers across diverse markets and industries, accelerating cloud adoption and digital transformation across the region.

As an EMEA Strategy Lead on a fixed-term contract (1 year, with potential extension), you will own strategic analysis and end-to-end project alignment, acting as a key integrator between worldwide and EMEA strategy. You will work closely with internal business leaders, combining data and insights to inform and drive change across the EMEA sales organization. Operating in a hypergrowth environment, you will tackle complex, undefined problems requiring analytical rigor and creative thinking, while maintaining an innovative approach to problem-solving.

Your responsibilities include driving strategic recommendations for EMEA within AWS Global Sales, managing complex initiatives, influencing cross-functional teams, conducting qualitative and quantitative research, and partnering with Sales, Sales Operations, and Planning teams to monitor success metrics. This role requires up to 15% travel, including international trips.

Requirements

Experience
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, investment banking, or a strategic role at a technology or Fortune 500 company
- Proven experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies
- Skilled in conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data, translating results into actionable deliverables and presentations
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including C-level executives and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex business challenges through financial models, analysis, and recommendations that impact business outcomes
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python
- Experience using agentic generative AI solutions and BI tools as part of your job

- Experience working with global B2B sales organizations

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- MBA preferred
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools and BI platforms is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies is advantageous
