About the Role
Amazon Web Services is seeking a seasoned enterprise sales professional who thrives at the intersection of data, AI, and business transformation. In this role, you will engage deeply within enterprise organizations, partnering with technical and commercial leaders to define and execute modern data strategies on AWS that unlock real business value. You will leverage the full breadth of AWS's data and analytics portfolio—from data warehousing and lake architectures to real-time streaming, search, and business intelligence—while identifying complementary third-party partner solutions to strengthen the overall platform. This role is about architecting the data foundations enterprises need to compete in an AI-driven world, owning the customer's data strategy and driving business outcomes.
Working closely with AWS AI specialists, Database, and Storage teams, you will help customers connect their data investments directly to accelerated business outcomes, ensuring platforms are built not only for today's workloads but also for the AI-native future rapidly taking shape. The pace of innovation is extraordinary, and customers need trusted advisors to navigate it with clarity and conviction. Experience
- Proven experience in technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent roles.
- Direct field experience selling software or cloud solutions.
- Experience selling to line-of-business leaders and technology stakeholders.
- Deep sales and advisory/consulting experience, including working with large commercial customers.
- Experience with cloud and cloud-based solutions is highly desired.
- Executive speaking and presentation skills, including formal presentations, whiteboarding, and group presentations.
About You
- Comfortable selling both new and mature technologies.
- Strong business acumen enabling engagement with CxO/VP level business personas.
- Ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.
- Conceptual technical understanding to earn trust with data professionals.
- Ability to serve as a key member of the account management team to ensure commercial success in building data solutions on AWS.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of AWS services is preferred.
- Track record of success driving adoption of disruptive technologies within enterprise accounts.
