We are seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Assistant to join the Integrated and Specialist Medicine Clinical Group. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-level administrative and organisational support to senior leaders within one of the UK’s largest and most respected NHS Trusts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing diaries, handling correspondence, preparing documents and reports, coordinating meetings and events, managing confidential information, organising travel and logistics, supporting office management functions, handling financial administration up to £500, and providing cross-cover with other Executive Assistants. Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, you will build strong working relationships at all levels and contribute to the smooth running of the leadership team.

Experience
- Substantial experience working as a Personal Assistant within a large, complex organisation such as the NHS
- Experience dealing with the public and clients
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience of minute taking and servicing committees or groups
- Previous NHS or busy clinical environment experience is desirable
About you
- Excellent communication skills, able to deal efficiently and courteously with patients, visitors, and staff both in person and over the telephone
- Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, reliable, trustworthy, enthusiastic, discrete, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to develop good working relationships at all levels
- Flexible approach to work and changing organisational priorities
- Willingness to learn new processes and systems quickly
- Understanding of confidentiality and its importance in the workplace
Qualifications
- A secretarial qualification such as RSA 3, NVQ 3 in a relevant subject, or equivalent
- Ability to type accurately at 60 words per minute
- Excellent IT skills with experience using the full Microsoft Office Suite
