About the Role
Camden Council is recruiting experienced Qualified Social Workers registered with SWE who have at least two years post-qualifying experience. You will join one of three Children’s Services areas: Children in Need (CIN), Children, Young People’s Disability Service (CYPDS), or Family, Friends & Fostering Services. This is a permanent, full-time role within a dynamic and thriving service rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

In the CIN Service, you will support and monitor children in need and those subject to child protection plans, working alongside families to ensure children’s safety, development, and wellbeing.

The CYPDS works in an integrated way with health services for disabled children and young people with complex developmental needs.

The Family, Friends & Fostering Service provides alternative accommodation for looked after children and is part of an integrated service including health, CAMHS, and permanence teams.

Camden’s Children’s Family Help and Safeguarding Service is built on a relational practice framework, focusing on strong, collaborative relationships between social workers, families, and communities. Staff are central to the service’s success, supporting improved outcomes for children, families, and care leavers.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a team driving real social change and making a positive impact on children’s and families’ lives within the borough.
