About the Role
Children’s Family Help and Safeguarding are hosting an in-person Social Work Recruitment event for qualified, experienced social workers registered with Social Work England. This event offers an opportunity to meet teams and leadership across children’s and families’ social work services including Children in Need, Corporate Parenting, Children and Young People’s Disability Services, Family, Friends & Fostering, Camden’s Learning Academy, Family Group Conferencing, and the Centre for Relational Practice. Attendees can learn about career progression, benefits, day-to-day responsibilities, and professional development opportunities. Light refreshments and goody bags will be provided throughout the event. Human Resources representatives will be available to assist with applications on the day. This is an excellent chance to explore a rewarding social work career with Camden Council and discover why it is a great place to work.

Additional Payments
- Reimbursement of Social Work England registration fee
- Travel allowance of £1,788 paid monthly (taxable and subject to National Insurance, not pensionable)
- Retention payments of £2,000 at the end of Year 3 and Year 4 (pro-rated for part-time workers) to recognise ongoing commitment to Camden’s social work services

Experience
Qualified and experienced social workers registered with Social Work England.
