We are seeking a Finance Shared Services GL Accountant to join our growing Group Finance team within the newly created shared services function. This role is integral to enhancing finance capabilities by driving best practice and maintaining consistency of accounting and reporting across all regions.
Key responsibilities include maintaining clean general ledgers, reconciling balance sheet accounts, managing the global fixed asset register, posting payroll journals, accruals, and prepayments, allocating corporate costs, reconciling intercompany charges, and ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy across finance systems such as Anaplan, NetSuite, and SAP Central Finance, supporting a single source of truth.
This role also involves identifying process improvements and automation opportunities, providing first line support for GL queries during audits, and contributing to ad-hoc analysis and projects as required. The position demands a strong control environment focus and commitment to timely financial reporting.
Experience
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with practical knowledge of UKGAAP/IFRS and demonstrable understanding of end-to-end finance processes. Experience with ERP systems and financial software, with NetSuite experience considered a plus.

Qualifications
