We are seeking a Finance Shared Services GL Accountant to join our expanding Group Finance team on a nine month fixed term contract. This newly created role within the shared services function will be key to enhancing finance capabilities by driving best practice and ensuring consistency of accounting and reporting across all regions.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean general ledgers, reconciling balance sheet accounts, managing the global fixed asset register, posting payroll journals, accruals, and prepayments, allocating corporate costs, reconciling intercompany charges, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure data accuracy across finance systems such as Anaplan, NetSuite, and SAP Central Finance. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, support audit processes, identify process improvements, and contribute to the overall efficiency and integrity of the finance function.

Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Practical knowledge of UKGAAP/IFRS
- Demonstrable understanding of end-to-end finance processes
- Competent in accounting fundamentals
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software; NetSuite experience is a plus
