About the Role
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where ambition meets action and innovation is a way of life. We are seeking Forward Deployed Engineers—experienced Technical Builders who design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions directly inside enterprise customer environments. You will work closely with a Deployment Strategist to co-build solutions that go live in production from day one, impacting real customers across the Global Public Sector including Government, Nonprofit, and Education organizations.

In this role, you will ship real customer solutions powered by AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, and Salesforce coding products like Vibes. You will collaborate with senior engineers and strategists, owning technical components end-to-end and contributing to continuous innovation in agentic AI platforms. Your work will span configuration, customization, and full-stack deployment, delivering measurable business impact.

You will develop AI agents that take real actions for organizations, design agent intelligence including prompts and tool integrations, build and maintain data pipelines and performance dashboards, and co-build alongside customers to enable their success. Your insights will directly influence product development, and you will partner with Deployment Strategists to translate business challenges into deployable AI solutions.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system you can confidently discuss.
- Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience (consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering) is required.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Comfortable collaborating with sales teams and customer architects.
- Experience shipping quality code and evaluating AI outputs with engineering rigor.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time to work directly with customers.

Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Salesforce platform experience or certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer I, Agentforce Specialist) are a plus.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex and orchestration patterns is desirable.
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery is advantageous.
- Specialist AI delivery experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments is a bonus.
