About the Role

We are seeking Forward Deployed Engineers—experienced Technical Builders who design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions directly inside enterprise customer environments. You will work closely with a Deployment Strategist to co-build solutions that go live in production from day one, impacting real customers in the Global Public Sector including Government, Nonprofit, and Education organizations.

As part of the delivery team, you will ship real customer solutions using best-in-class AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, and Salesforce coding products like Vibes. You will collaborate with Senior Forward Deployed Engineers and Deployment Strategists, owning technical components end-to-end and benefiting from structured mentorship. This role offers frontier access to evolving AI platforms and requires continuous innovation by experimenting with emerging AI tools, models, and frameworks.

Your work will include designing agent intelligence, building and integrating data pipelines on platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks, maintaining agent performance dashboards, contributing to proofs-of-concept and MVPs, and partnering closely with customers to deliver impactful AI-driven solutions. You will also provide valuable feedback to product teams based on your field experience.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system you can confidently discuss
- Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience (consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering) is required
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, able to analyze and improve prompt performance
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex
- Strong understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns
- Experience working collaboratively with sales teams and customer architects
- Proven ability to ship quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor
- Comfortable experimenting with new AI/data tools and models
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time to work directly with customers

Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Salesforce platform experience or certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer I, Agentforce Specialist) is a plus
- Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex and orchestration patterns is desirable
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery is advantageous
- Background in specialist AI delivery areas such as data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments is beneficial
