This role is within HM Treasury’s Digital Communications team, supporting the publication of the department’s documents and announcements on GOV.UK, including major fiscal events such as the Budget. You will manage the end-to-end publishing process for Treasury documents, ensuring they meet high editorial and accessibility standards.
You will work closely with policy teams, press officers, and colleagues across the department to plan, edit, and publish digital content. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple high-profile publications in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include delivering the publication of Treasury documents on GOV.UK, coordinating digital publishing for major events, editing complex documents for clarity and accessibility, advising colleagues on content preparation and publishing processes, and identifying opportunities to improve publishing standards and accessibility.
Experience
- Publishing or managing digital content for websites or digital platforms, including editing or preparing complex information for online audiences.
- Coordinating or delivering high-profile publications, reports, or digital content while managing multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.
- Applying editorial, content design, or accessibility principles to improve clarity and usability of digital content.

Qualifications
Relevant digital publishing or content design experience is welcomed. Experience with GOV.UK publishing tools is helpful but not essential. A commitment to continuous improvement and learning is important for success in this role.
