About the Role

The Integrated Care Transformation Team (ICTT) works collaboratively with partners across South East London to lead and deliver transformation and quality improvement programmes focused on integrated care for Lambeth and Southwark. The Head of Delivery will lead and manage the ICTT, overseeing programme delivery, building transformation capability, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the Trust’s strategy and system priorities.
This senior leadership role requires a high degree of autonomy, strategic vision, and expertise in transformation, change management and programme delivery within complex healthcare environments. The post holder will be responsible for line managing senior programme managers, developing operational processes, leading communication and engagement, and ensuring the effective delivery of multiple, complex change programmes across organisational and system boundaries.
The role also includes financial management responsibilities, including budget planning, monitoring, and reporting, as well as championing transformation methodologies and embedding continuous improvement practices across the team and wider organisation.

Experience
- Extensive experience designing and delivering improvement programmes and training in continuous improvement and programme management, preferably in large, complex healthcare organisations.
- Proven track record leading senior teams to deliver complex programmes and managing change across multiple stakeholders.
- Significant experience in senior staff performance management, motivating and coaching teams to meet deadlines.
- Expertise in transformation and change management using lean and other recognised methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of NHS environment, strategy, and policy, particularly within South East London.
- Experience working across organisations to secure change and overcome resistance.
- Skilled in facilitating group discussions and building relationships with executive and senior leaders.
- Experience managing budgets and delivering financial benefits associated with projects.
- Ability to work in complex clinical environments and deliver system-wide change.

Qualifications
- Masters degree or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
- Relevant post-graduate qualification.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Desirable: Programme management qualification (MSP), formal qualification in Six Sigma, Lean or other improvement methodologies.
