About the Role
An exciting position has arisen at this large, multi-cultural 11-18 community school to work as the Headteacher’s PA. The role involves providing high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher and wider leadership team. Key responsibilities include overseeing recruitment processes such as preparing recruitment packs, adverts, interview scheduling, candidate liaison, and communication with the London Borough of Hounslow. You will also work closely with the School's Governors and Leadership Team to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Governing Body.
The role requires managing the Headteacher’s diary and commitments, organising meetings and appointments, preparing agendas and minutes for leadership meetings, and handling confidential communications. You will act as a point of contact for internal and external enquiries, maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times.

Experience
Proven experience in providing high-level administrative and secretarial support, preferably within an educational setting. Experience in managing complex diaries, organising meetings, and handling confidential information is essential.

Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently with discretion and professionalism. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to liaise effectively with staff, governors, parents, and external stakeholders. You must be able to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
Relevant administrative qualifications or equivalent experience are desirable. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is essential. This appointment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and compliance with safer recruitment practices.
