About the Role
We’re looking for a confident and proactive Junior People Advisor to join our People team at Ennismore, supporting our teams at Home Base: London throughout their journey with us. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the detail and getting things done but also wants to grow their experience in employee relations and advising managers. One day you might be welcoming a new starter or preparing payroll changes, and the next you could be supporting a manager with a people query or helping bring an engagement initiative to life.

Our People team are a creative and ambitious bunch. We work hard, support each other, and get stuck into all sorts of projects across the employee journey. If you enjoy building relationships, keeping things moving and helping people have a great experience at work, we’d love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities include:
- Being a friendly and approachable first point of contact for our teams, answering day-to-day People & Culture questions and knowing when to involve the wider team.
- Building strong relationships with team members and managers, helping them feel supported throughout their time at Ennismore.
- Working closely with the People & Culture Manager to provide clear, practical guidance on people processes and policies.
- Handling sensitive information with care, discretion and a thoughtful approach.
- Managing administration of key moments throughout the employee journey, including onboarding, probation tracking, employment changes, and leaver processes.
- Supporting managers with everyday people matters such as absence, performance, and probation, and assisting with employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances.
- Keeping employee information and People platforms accurate and up to date, supporting payroll and benefits processes.
- Coordinating training sessions, learning programmes, engagement activities, communications, and events to help the team feel connected.
- Supporting people projects and initiatives across wellbeing, development, and community engagement.

This role offers the chance to work in an innovative, fast-growing international group committed to building a global brand and a passionate team focused on creating great hospitality experiences.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience in a People & Culture or HR role is required. Exposure to employee relations or supporting managers with people matters is preferred, with a desire to develop confidence and knowledge further.

About you
You are a natural people person who enjoys building relationships and supporting others. You are approachable and people feel comfortable coming to you. You are organised, proactive, and have a keen eye for detail even when managing multiple tasks. You take ownership, follow things through, and ensure nothing gets missed. You are comfortable using systems and platforms. You handle sensitive situations with care, use good judgement, and know when to ask for support. You are happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved in administration, reporting, people projects, and manager queries. You value a workplace where individuality is embraced, and you enjoy working in a supportive, creative, and fun team environment.

Qualifications
A good understanding of the basics of UK employment practices is essential, along with a curiosity to keep your knowledge up to date. Formal qualifications are not specified, but relevant HR or People & Culture training or certifications would be advantageous.
