About the Role

As a Licensing & Digital Media Officer, you will play a vital role at the heart of the Markets, Shop Fronts & Street Trading Service, ensuring statutory duties are delivered seamlessly while supporting traders to tell their stories and grow their businesses.
You will balance licensing compliance with digital creativity, processing street trading and market licences, reconciling income, advising traders, and managing licensing records. You will also capture and share the life of Hackney’s markets through creative digital campaigns, mentor traders to build their digital marketing confidence, and work alongside the Strategy, Policy & Digital Development Manager on data-led campaigns that celebrate Hackney’s diverse voices.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you will see the direct impact of your work every week, from supporting new traders to promoting packed market days. Join a multi-award-winning service that drives inclusive economic growth, sustainability, and cultural celebration across London.
