Are you a passionate, experienced Social Worker or Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) seeking a manageable caseload and an environment where your values drive your practice? Work within the Integrated Mental Health Service (IMHS), delivered in partnership with East London Foundation Trust (ELFT), at an exciting time as redesigned pathways are embedded and practice is strengthened.
We have vacancies for Experienced Qualified Social Workers (PO2-PO3) and AMHPs (PO4) who contribute to the rota. You will be trusted to apply your professional expertise and autonomy while being part of a supportive team structure.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking Care Act assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and reviews
- Connecting meaningfully with residents and carers using professional curiosity and sound judgement
- Working collaboratively with health colleagues and partners to provide timely, person-centred care
- Embedding trauma-informed, strengths-based, and anti-racist practice to help residents achieve outcomes that matter to them

Experience
Experienced qualified Social Workers and AMHPs with a passion for improving outcomes for residents with mental health needs. Ability to manage a caseload and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
About you
Committed to social justice and anti-racist practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a flexible, reflective approach to practice. Ability to connect meaningfully with residents and carers using professional curiosity and sound judgement.
Qualifications
A Social Work England recognised qualification and current registration. Strong understanding of relevant legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
Please note: These positions are only open to currently practicing social workers as the IMHS is not able to offer the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) in this first year.
