About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS trusts, providing a wide range of hospital and community services across south London and specialist care nationally. This role is based within the St Johns Dermatology Private Patients unit in Wimpole Street, where you will lead the outpatient team and be responsible for a variety of administrative duties. You will act as the first point of contact for patients, consultants, and third parties, ensuring a professional, friendly, and efficient service.
The post holder will manage and improve patient journeys by following and introducing processes that ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. You will work closely with the Deputy Service Manager and Service Manager to support operational improvements, manage payments including self-pay, insurance, and international purchasers, and maintain high standards of practice across the department.
The role involves managing performance monitoring through SOPs, problem-solving daily operational issues, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the service runs effectively. You will also oversee reporting and data analysis to support senior management decision-making and service development.

Experience
- Significant contribution to tracking and meeting service objectives
- Outpatient and clinic management experience
- Experience with Epic clinic creation and management
- Data analysis, KPI management, and trend analysis experience
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment

Qualifications
- Educated to HNC level, equivalent diploma, or relevant experience
- Desirable: Awareness of Compucare systems
- Desirable: Experience in private healthcare or private services within the NHS
- Desirable: Experience with data reporting through Epic
