About the Role
Linklaters is a global law firm operating in 20 countries through 30 offices, recognised for its commitment to diversity and inclusion. We are seeking an experienced Paralegal/Support Lawyer to provide legal and transactional support across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. You will work closely with lawyers and business stakeholders, assisting with contract management, corporate governance activities, and transactional support. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing and assisting with the negotiation of routine legal documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), engagement letters and consultancy agreements. You will support contract management processes, ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with internal procedures. Additionally, you will assist with corporate governance matters by coordinating board and committee meetings, preparing board packs, reviewing agendas, coordinating attendees, minute-taking and following up on actions. Maintaining statutory records, corporate documentation and governance trackers will also be part of your role.
You will provide legal and administrative support on corporate transactions and business initiatives, coordinating documentation and managing key deliverables. Conducting legal research and due diligence exercises, liaising with internal stakeholders, external counsel, consultants and advisers to ensure efficient matter progression, monitoring action points, deadlines and transaction workstreams, and contributing to template and process improvements within the legal team are also expected.
Linklaters engages a third-party provider for contractor and temporary staff. Upon acceptance of a temporary role, you will be engaged under a contract for services through this provider and will not have an employment relationship with Linklaters.
