The Diagnostic Centre plays a vital role in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care through scheduling and administrative support for diagnostic tests for both NHS and private patients.
As a Patient Pathway Coordinator, you will work within the Diagnostic Centre admin team to schedule appointments in line with waiting time guidelines, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and maintain accurate and confidential records. You will provide essential administrative support to clinical teams, ensuring a smooth patient experience and supporting the delivery of a quality service.
This role requires maintaining excellent customer service standards, managing appointment systems, assisting with patient registration and payments, and supporting radiographers and consultants with administrative tasks. You will also contribute to data collection, audits, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Experience
- Previous administrative experience within the NHS or private healthcare setting is essential.
- Experience with electronic booking systems and understanding of NHS waiting time targets.
- Experience working within diagnostics or imaging departments and familiarity with EPIC is desirable.
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including English and Maths.
- ECDL or equivalent experience with Microsoft Office packages.
- Level 2 (or higher) qualification in Customer Service is desirable.
