The Patient Pathway Coordinator will lead on tracking patient pathways, ensuring timely treatment and meeting national targets. Working closely with clinical and managerial staff, the post holder will provide high-quality administrative support across Trust-wide specialties, particularly supporting the apheresis service at Evelina London Children’s Hospital.
This role involves registering patients, booking outpatient appointments, managing referrals, and coordinating care for patients undergoing apheresis, including those with sickle cell disease. The post holder will work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, liaising with consultants, specialist nurses, and day unit staff to deliver a patient-focused service.

Experience
- Extensive business administration experience demonstrating key functions of admin support services
- Proven ability to manage patient pathways and validate data
- Experience working independently and efficiently
- Desirable: Previous NHS administrative experience

- Desirable: Knowledge of medical terminology
Qualifications
- Good general education including English and Maths to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Educated to diploma level or NVQ 3, City and Guilds certificate level in business administration or equivalent
- Evidence of formal further training and significant hospital administration experience
- Desirable: Customer services qualification or training
