About the Role
We are recruiting a Placements Officer to join the Children’s Access to Resource team. This role involves identifying placements that meet the needs of Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Care Leavers. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with social workers, providers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality services on time and within budget, ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people. This position is open to both social workers and non-social workers. Please note, this role does not offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship; applicants must already have UK work authorization that does not require sponsorship.

Experience
Experience working with children and young people in a placement or social care context is desirable but not explicitly required.

You will be committed to delivering high-quality service and outcomes for children and young people. You should be collaborative, proactive, and eager to develop new skills within this role.

Qualifications
Degree level qualification in any field. Registered social workers are welcome to apply and must maintain continued professional body registration if practicing as a social workers.
