About the Role
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where ambition meets action and innovation is a way of life. As a Principal AI Architect, you will be a senior, hands-on technical leader and trusted advisor responsible for designing, validating, and operationalizing enterprise-grade data and AI architectures centered on Salesforce Data Cloud (D360) and the Agentforce platform. This role bridges data engineering, platform architecture, and applied AI, guiding customer Chief Data Officers and Enterprise Architects through emerging AI solutions. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives and Product teams to design scalable, secure solutions integrating D360 into complex enterprise ecosystems including hyperscalers, data lakes, and governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities include leading pre-sales technical design, shaping best practices around generative AI and agent interoperability, building prototypes and demos, developing thought leadership content, and acting as a central technical knowledge resource. You will enable conversational and background agents, drive prompt engineering and lifecycle strategy, lead workshops, advise on data and integration, support early adoption, and own technical architecture decisions and enablement.

Experience
7+ years in customer-facing technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical advisory roles partnering with Account Executives to drive enterprise deals. Proven expertise designing and delivering AI, GenAI, and data architectures on platforms such as AWS (Bedrock/SageMaker), Microsoft Azure AI, Databricks, Google Cloud Vertex AI, Snowflake, or Palantir. Hands-on experience with frontier LLMs and AI tools including OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, Cursor, or multi-agent orchestration frameworks. Skilled in agent interoperability, open standards (MCP, A2A), prompt engineering, and voice AI integrations. Demonstrated ability to lead rapid prototyping and technical discovery workshops for C-suite stakeholders.

Qualifications
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related technical field. Preferred but not required: experience with Salesforce CRM, Agentforce Studio, Data Cloud (D360), multi-modal AI frameworks, voice pipelines, MLOps, vector search, or custom model fine-tuning.
