The Evelina London Children’s Hospital, part of the Trust, is a leading specialist paediatric hospital offering secondary and tertiary services to local and regional patients. The Private Patient Pathway Co-ordinator role is based within the International and Private Patients Service at Evelina London Children’s Hospital and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced commercial environment that supports NHS service reinvestment through income generation.
The post holder will provide comprehensive, efficient, and quality operational leadership to patient pathways, ensuring all treatment elements are coordinated professionally and succinctly in line with private healthcare expectations. This role also offers the chance to lead specific initiatives to develop and transform services aligned with the strategic growth plans for Private Patient Services at Evelina.
Main duties include coordinating all aspects of patient pathways for international and private patients, building relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff to develop pathways and capacity, improving customer care, ensuring accurate clinical recording and billing information, managing financial arrangements to secure payment, and supporting operational and strategic decision-making through administration and data analysis.

Experience
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment, demonstrating the ability to manage difficult customers and challenging situations with excellent customer service skills
- Experience in data collection and maintaining confidentiality
- Previous experience scheduling outpatient appointments, ward admissions, and diagnostics
- Desirable: Experience working in the Private Patient sector

Qualifications
- Essential: Good general education with English and Maths to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Desirable: IT experience including Microsoft Office, EPIC, Teams, Compucare
