The Private Patients Integrated Specialist Medicine (ISM) Lead will be embedded within NHS outlier clinical environments and work on behalf of the Private Patients service to ensure all private patient activity is accurately captured, managed, and optimised. This role acts as the operational lead within outlier settings, providing end-to-end oversight of the private patient pathway, reducing financial leakage, and supporting the delivery of a high-quality, efficient, and commercially aligned service.
The post holder will collaborate closely with NHS administrative and clinical teams, acting as the visible Private Patient representative within these areas to ensure that Private Patient standards, processes, and governance are consistently applied.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Educated to HNC/Equivalent Diploma or equivalent experience
- GCSE Maths & English
Desirable:
- Track record of significant continuous professional and management development
Experience
Essential:
- Private healthcare experience and/or experience of private services in the NHS
- Experience delivering Administrative and Clerical Outpatient Services with an outstanding patient experience
- Significant contribution to tracking and meeting service objectives
- Experience working with international patients and/or clients requiring a high degree of cultural awareness
Desirable:
- Experience and exposure to staff supervision/management including recruitment, retention, appraisal, first line disciplinary processes, and knowledge of budget management
