About the Role
NT Food & Drink is a unique and dynamic partnership driven by Levy and KERB, embedded within the National Theatre on the South Bank. Our ambition is to create a world-class hospitality destination at the heart of one of the world’s most iconic theatres, powered by a progressive people-first approach centred on environmental and social sustainability. We celebrate inclusivity with purpose, focusing on the development and progression of our future leaders.
As Restaurant Supervisor, you will be an integral part of the front-of-house leadership team, reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager. You will lead daily service on the floor, ensuring smooth operations and consistently high levels of guest experience. This is a hands-on role where your presence, energy, and attention to detail are essential.
You will support the training and development of the front-of-house team, manage service delivery and floor operations, and maintain a service culture aligned with our vision of World Class Hospitality. Acting as a key link between restaurant management and the wider team, you will set the tone for each service and uphold the highest standards.
The restaurant is a timeless British brasserie located within an iconic landmark building. It reflects the high standards of the National Theatre itself, showcasing the very best of British produce including shellfish from Devon, Cornwall, and Scotland’s north coast, beef and lamb from the Lake District, and vegetables and salads from small organic farms across Kent. The bar offers traditional cocktails alongside a large-format wine list balancing classic varietals with modern natural wine styles.
