About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Conference & Events Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of catering services at Excel London, one of Europe’s largest and most successful venues hosting around 400 events annually. In this role, you will play a leading part in delivering a first-rate hospitality offering across conferences and events. Working alongside the Operations Manager, you will assist in the development and leadership of your team, inspiring them to deliver exceptional service to clients and guests. You will facilitate daily client and hospitality operations, ensuring expectations are met and consistently ‘Winning One Customer at a Time’. Additionally, you will review hospitality performance for conferences and events and ensure the delivery of departmental financial targets.

Experience
- Experience in a demanding food environment including retail, stand catering, and conferences and banqueting
- Experience working with client groups
- Understanding of P&L management

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence and operate effectively at all stakeholder levels

Qualifications
No specific qualifications required, however relevant experience in hospitality operations management is essential.
