About the Role
Are you an experienced, confident Social Worker ready to step into a leadership role, providing expert guidance on complex cases and driving quality assurance? Join the London Borough of Hackney, a dynamic, values-led authority committed to equity and anti-racism, as part of the Integrated Mental Health Service (IMHS), a Section 75 partnership with East London Foundation Trust (ELFT). This role offers a unique opportunity to shape best practice across a redesigned service focused on trauma-informed and anti-racist approaches.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will act as a vital link between frontline practice and management, focusing on professional expertise, quality assurance, and staff development. Your responsibilities include providing expert advice on complex cases, leading quality assurance to ensure safe and legally compliant practice, chairing and coordinating safeguarding adult enquiries, mentoring staff, and supporting the Team Manager with supervision and professional development. You will also collaborate effectively with ELFT and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for residents.

Experience
- Proven experience as a Social Worker managing complex casework, safeguarding enquiries, and risk.
- Experience mentoring and supporting less experienced colleagues and promoting reflective practice.
- Confident in applying key legislation including the Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.

Qualifications
