About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services across south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. The Trust is renowned for clinical excellence, high quality teaching, and research, and is part of King’s Health Partners academic health sciences centre. We pride ourselves on delivering safe, high quality care with a strong focus on patient experience and community partnership.

This Senior Primary Care Analyst role is embedded within the Lambeth Together Planning and Intelligence Team, supporting the borough of Lambeth where Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals are located. The postholder will provide dedicated analytical expertise to accelerate delivery against the NHS 10-Year Plan, 2025/26 planning guidance, and Neighbourhood Integration priorities by aligning insight closely with operational needs.

The role involves developing and embedding robust data processes across Lambeth’s primary care programme, focusing on reducing unwarranted variation, improving access to general practice, supporting practice resilience, and tackling health inequalities. The postholder will lead the operationalisation and reporting of the Lambeth Offer (general practice incentive schemes), designing monitoring frameworks, training materials, and guidance to ensure sustainable use across practices.

Key responsibilities include designing and testing reporting processes using EMIS/Ardens searches, supporting local incentive schemes and quality improvement programmes, and providing timely, accurate intelligence to the Primary Care Resilience and Quality Group and the Lambeth Together Primary Care Commissioning Committee.

The role is part of Integrated Specialist Medicine, a strategic business unit delivering integrated local services across hospital and community settings in Lambeth and Southwark, aiming to help people stay well longer and coordinate care effectively with local partners.
