About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS trusts, providing a wide range of hospital and community services across south London and specialist care nationally. The Health Innovation Network (HIN) South London, hosted by Guy’s and St Thomas’, is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to join the Insights team. This role is ideal for a passionate professional with consultancy experience who is committed to using evidence, evaluation, and innovation to improve health and care outcomes and address inequalities for the south London population.
The Senior Programme Manager will support the Programme Director for Insights by leading a team dedicated to evaluation, data analytics, and health economics to deliver impactful improvements in health equity and system performance. The role involves managing large-scale, complex projects within the HIN’s evaluation portfolio and overseeing the operational delivery of the HIN’s evaluation services.
This position requires extensive expertise in designing and conducting complex evaluations in health and care settings, alongside strong programme management skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development, including writing bids and proposals to secure fee-for-service projects, and producing high-quality evaluation outputs for diverse audiences.

Experience
- Considerable experience working within a consultancy environment, including writing bids and proposals to successfully secure income through fee-for-service evaluation projects.
- Extensive project management experience in large, complex organisations, including design, development, implementation, and management of change in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Extensive knowledge and experience leading evaluations of innovation in complex, real-world health and care settings to generate evidence on effectiveness, implementation, and scaling.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality insights and evaluation outputs for clients and external audiences to inform decision-making.
- Extensive knowledge of the digital health economy.

Qualifications
Relevant Masters degree, equivalent professional qualification, or equivalent experience is essential.
