About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Supported Employment Advisor to join Hackney Borough Council on a 5-year fixed term or secondment basis. You will play a key role in delivering employment support through the high-profile Connect to Work programme within the Employment, Skills & Adult Learning service.

In this role, you will manage and support a caseload of clients facing significant barriers to employment, helping them secure and sustain high-quality paid work that matches their preferences. You will build and maintain strong relationships with local employers and key stakeholders to generate referrals and create meaningful employment opportunities.

You will also work closely with individuals at risk of job loss to support job retention and provide assistance to employers. The role requires excellent stakeholder engagement skills to ensure a steady flow of referrals and to foster partnerships with employers and organisations.

You will join a well-resourced and experienced team committed to delivering all aspects of supported employment. Comprehensive training will be provided on the IPS (Individual Placement and Support) and SEQF (Supported Employment Quality Framework) models.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Experience
Proven experience supporting people to access and sustain employment, particularly those facing significant barriers. Experience in stakeholder engagement and building relationships with employers and partner organisations is essential.

Qualifications
